Qualities!

Domineering, controlling, impulsive, rude, stubborn, insensitive, unthankful.

Wouldn't you hate to marry someone who had all these qualities! But there are so many Christians in the body of Christ who are just like this! This is what Jesus has to put up with from His bride the church (which is you and me).

I don't want these qualities! Do you? The greatest Christians in my life are known by having: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control (Galations 5:22-23). Then I recall there great feats and accomplishments. But it is really sad when the accomplishments and the feats have to be hindered a Christian who has the qualities being domineering, controlling, impulsive, rude, stubborn, insensitive, unthankful.

So glad Jesus wasn't like that!

Attitudes

Did you know that we can do all the right things but it can count for nothing if we have the wrong attitude?

We can preach the best sermons,
We can hold the greatest conventions,
We can pray the nicest prayers,
We can sing with perfect skill,
We can teach with perfect knowledge,
We can do all the 'christian motions' but it can count for nothing if we are missing one thing!

What is that one thing?
LOVE?

"1If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. " (1 Cor 13:1-3)

What is love?

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8Love never fails." (1 Cor 13:4-8)

Prayer Request

Hello Friends,

I'm off to London for ministry with my mentor Pastor Pritam. Please keep us in prayer as we extend the vision and invitation of southasianconnection.com to the UK! We desperately need the favor and hand of God upon us as we minister. Please keep us in constant prayer!

God bless you all!

Spiritual Babies and Giants

Gosh, I just love being around Spiritual Giants. They never seem to buckle under pressure. YOu see the fruits of the Holy Spirit in them everytime the pressure is on. They aren't like spiritual babies who try to control people or circumstances. The giants aren't so takless and impulsive and loveless like the babies. They still treat you with respect and love and esteem while the babies just see you as a means to an end. The babies just have one agenda and that is to get things done. They see people as obstacles but not the giants.

The giants see people as oppoutunities. They see people as Jesus in disguise and are dieing to love them no matter how hard the pressure is. And isn't that the message of Jesus Christ? Isn't that the most or second most important commandement in the BIble. They are loving and encouraging and optimistic even with the chips seem down. They keep there hope up and the love strong. They have that love that bears all things and hopes all things and endures all things and suffers long and is KIND! The babies are so unkind and you see it there words and eyes and manerisms and actions! You see the flesh in them. Outbursts of anger is one of them. But the giants are much the oppesite!

God bless you giants. We babies need your love and thank you for modeling it. You inspire us to go further. Now as for the babies, well God will judge you! The way you treat people is the way you treat Jesus! (Matt 24-25)
