So tomorrow is the BIG day. We are waiting in eager anticipation... We've been praying, planning, plotting and rehearsing for our next PMC Drama. It is a new script, characters and even props and including body motion. It is a stretch for us and the rehearsal was fun! God, we love you and thank for being so faithful. Now is the time for rest, refresh, re cooperate and re ignite! Thanks Jesus!

Team Omega
So we teamed up with Team Omega for Ignite. The are from the local Bible College. I just love the crew. They are so humble, gentle, fun and fruit filled. They come with a desire to serve, love and give! I can go on and on about them but would prefer to thank God that he has brought awesome laborers in the harvest! They all are fresh out of high school and ready to give to the Savior. They are wet behind the ears and wide eyed and cheery. God bless them. They are like a breath of fresh air. I miss those days. Fresh in the Lord and everything is new, vibrant and refreshing. The whole world seemed open... The nights with them are the few times I get refreshed and invigorated. Thank you Lord for this time to get relief from the turmoil. Thank you Jesus.

Another Christian Joke
PMC Christmas Drama 2008
Jesus we need a script, ideas, inspiriation, props, provision and much more. I pray against procrastination. We need you. Some of us are weak, tired, wrestling and resting and needing more and thirsting and hungering and longing for you. We can't do it apart from you. We need you!
Trick or Track or Tract?
It is Halloween. We don't celebrate it in this household but we do take advantage of this opportunity to give out gospel tracks or tracts? How do you spell it?
We look at the cute kids dressed as goblins, devils and witches and give them a paper that can change their eternal destiny. The message of the savior in it that is. My bro is to chicken to give them out! He is missing out!

Thanks Giving
When he saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were cleansed.
One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.
Jesus asked, "Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" Then he said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well."
We recently celebrated our Thanksgiving Day. It reminded me of the above passage. We see two kinds of relationships at work here. Let's look at the relationship between the nine lepers and Jesus.
There are those who have a shallow relationship with God. This kind of relationship involve people who only think about what they can get out of a relationship or person. They are always wondering, "What is it it for me?" They are opportunists and see people as a means to their own selfish ends. They use people. They put all sorts of conditions in their relationship with the unconditional lover. They are used to taking in any relationship but never giving and like in any relationship there is always conflict because one person is always being selfish. They affirm James 3:16, "For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice." These kinds of people are never grateful.
Than there are others like the one leper who gave thanks. They can appreciate the goodness and compassion and kindness of Jesus. They know the value of friendships and gifts and people. They are lovers. They are also able to affirm that, "'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'" (Acts 20:35) They have denied self and never gave in to the cynicism and bitterness that can be thrown at us from the evil of this world. They have successfully guarded their hearts against such horror.

Passion Vancouver
It is rare for Vancouver to pull in mainstream Christian acts... Actually Vancouver has been known to be quite quiet to most Major acts secular and Christian. They noticed and even said the Canadians are quite polite. It is true. When I speak to foreigners about what they think of Canadians, they all say that we are gentle, polite and much more.
I meet many missionaries who pass through and say how shocked they are to find dead churches and Christians here. It always pierces like a dagger in my heart. We could do so much better. But aren't... It is easy to wallow in self-pity, feel jealousy over the others who have revival until you see the fate of other cities, countries and nations. Think about Orissa, Sudan/Darfur, and the list goes on and on and on...
Things changed when the preacher took to the altar/stage. We prayed for this fine city, generation... He was from the states. It was to bring a message the Jesus didn't forget us. Of course he hasn't. He manifests Himself in our prayers, longings for righteousness and passion for the better. It can be hard to believe when we look at our sinful state and wonder how God and still love us...
But you know what. We all have done things we are not proud of. Some of them are shameful, despicable, degrading... But the preacher told how God became sin for us. He took all of our mess, failures, mistakes.
The tears could stop flowing down. It was clean up time and Jesus was on the move.
The preacher was awesome. It was weird seeing him live out my dream. He was globe trodding and rising up the young adults who normally drop out of the faith after they move out... He showed pics from Mexico, Paris and different parts of the world of young adults praising GOD! It is easy to believe that you are the only Christian on earth... until you see those photo's. At least tonight it was different. There was a glimmer of hope. The prayers were being answered Louie gave us a simple reminder... that... No... we are not alone. There is more to be had and this was just the beginning.
