What was it like?

Have you ever wondered what is was like to be crucified? Or how about being rejected by all your close friends? Or how about being blind folded and beaten? Or how about being mocked, spat at, jeered! Or how about becoming the full embodiment of sin that has no place in the very presence of God! This is the trueset form of loniliness...

This is just a small taste of what Jesus went through. He had the power to retaliate but he didn't. He offerered grace and mercy and love in exchange for hate, rejection and all the evils of the world. And he bore it silently.
2 Peter 2
"19For it is commendable if a man bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because he is conscious of God. 20But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. 21To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. 22"He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth."23When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. 24He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. 25For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls."
Take us back Father.

SAGC Booth

Here is just one of the banners we will be using for our SAGC booth. We are having a worship night with a number of different churches this Friday. The booth will be set up and the vision cast! Pray that more South Asians will come aboard.

I just met one man who wanted to go to SAGC Vancouver but didn't when he found out it was for youth and young adults... He was a little older but remember it is for those involved in South Asian ministry especially among youth!

See you than!

It began in Vancouver but now it is reaching London and than, who knows? Will it continue in Singapore? Or even Kuala Lumpur? How about New York? Maybe even Johannesburg? Only God know's at the moment.

Will you come aboard? What is stopping you? A lack of faith? Fear? Doubt? Disbelief? Free Your MIND!

SAGC Here we come!

As I type, a couple of members from our team are going to book tickets for South Asian Global Covnetion London! We have just came back from a successful weekend of fundraising at our church and now we are off! We even got a better deal on tickets.

Can you believe it has been nearly three years since the convention was held in Vancouver? It was a huge success armed with the grace of God. Now it's time to do it all over again in London. We are expectant, excited, eager, and even exhilerated. Some of us have never been to England before and this will be the first time flying overseas. What will be on the otherside? Jesus doing a whole new work in a different land from our homes.

We want to take this time to thank the saviour. He is beautiful and lovely and he provides. Thank you Lord. Thank you for choosing us before the foundation of the world (Eph 1:4)! Thank you for the hope of this calling (Eph 1:18). Let us live a life worthy of this calling (Eph 4:1).
