PMC Camp Booked!

Hello dear friends,
I'm so excited. I was trying all year to get an awesome campsite for this year's family camp! I looked high and low and everywhere in between but to no avail.... Funny how God comes right in when you are at wit's end. He came through again. Our camp site is just 20 min from all those beautiful shots you see! My spirit was stirred to say the least. I was excited as I saw God guide 'little ol' me. He is so beautiful and lovely and caring. He really know's our hurts and pains and needs and wants and desires. He even know's our prayers even before we ask! What a blessed reassurance!

"...for your Father knows what you need before you ask him." (Matthew 6:8)
So now I come to you again with a list of prayer requests! We are all called to pray continually and it can be alot of fun if we do it in God's Spirit (1 Thess 5:18)! But the real saints do the stuff that is not fun! Here it is the list in no particular order:
1. To thank God for leading us this far and providing a nearby site!
2. Safety. I've heard so many horror stories of mission work gone wrong or ministry heading south of its true vision and I NEVER want to see that! God came to give us life and life abundantly! We want that!
3. Good Weather. It was raining when I went up there! God's creation is better enjoyed in sunshine. Okay, that is a personal preference but I live on the west coast where we get nearly 4-5 months of none stop rain without sunshine. It sure beats snow but still, I prefer sunshine.
4. The theme! I don't know what the theme is for camp this year. Last year it was, "Endless Possibilities!" We usually have a panel of speakers and games/activities and a focussed theme. We want to see people touched by GOD! We know only prayer and the Word can help us! Please pray that God would use the theme and messages to impart life and truth and freedom and Salvation to his beautiful sheep!
5. Volunteers! We have an amazing couple who always got the extra mile to prepare food for 40-50 campers and it is not easy. Pray that they will have a team of servant leaders who can help. Pray that they will have energy, perservearance and joy in their work.
6. Unity. I hate to see people's flesh get the better of them. I know what that is like in my life and it is never pretty. We want unity and oneness!
"I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me."
(John 17:20-22)
7. Pray against complainers! I remember Moses took his nation on a camping trip and it was not easy. There were those pesky whiners and complainers and God was not to pleased with them. A negative attitude can bring down a whole weekend. It just takes one and they like to multiply. Pray that people speech will be seasoned with grace.
"Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone."
(Colossians 4:6)
Well friends, thanks again for partnering with us. We need you! Keep posted and I let you know how things turn out! It will be MARVELOUS!
