Cut Out for Me!

I've got my job cut out for me.

Calling all young people! I'm not giving up so easy.
You refuse to worship, fellowship and learn and grow in the Word of God.
I have to compete against your desire to overeat!
I have to compete against your lust for pornography.
I have to compete against your facination for violent video games!
I have to fight against your love for the the shallow entertainment in movies and TV.
I have to compete against the NHL, World Cup, MLB.
I have heard the excuses and the shallow apologies and lies.
So you didn't come! You didn't rise up. You gave in to the flesh.
Guess what! It is not over! I'm in it for the long run! I'm tired for guilt, regret, discourgament and silly self pity! I'm putting it all aside now!

I've got my job cut out for me! I will stop at nothing to see it won!
Because this is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God (1John 5:4-5).

PMC Christmas Drama!

"One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples."

2He said to them, "When you pray, say:
" 'Father,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come.
3Give us each day our daily bread.
4Forgive us our sins,
for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.
And lead us not into temptation.' "

5Then he said to them, "Suppose one of you has a friend, and he goes to him at midnight and says, 'Friend, lend me three loaves of bread, 6because a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have nothing to set before him.'

7"Then the one inside answers, 'Don't bother me. The door is already locked, and my children are with me in bed. I can't get up and give you anything.' 8I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man's boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs.

9"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Hello Dear Friends,

We are in the creative process of putting together another drama for PMC's Christmas Event. We decided to outsource this time and taken a little draft of a script from a wonderful saint. It is the first time we are doing it like this. We need allot of prayer. Can you pray for us? Here is our list!

That the message of Christ will bear real, lasting fruit.
Pray against fleshly impulses (outbursts of anger and dissensions are a couple of them...)
Pray against fear and being nervous!
Pray against deception, lies and communication barriers.
Pray for patience and protection in spirit and health of the laborers.
Pray for quality props (We have bigger ideas this time that really need God!)
Pray that process will bring people together.

Come into his world and see existence through different eyes. It will be daring!
