Seattle

Mr. Bilson just came back from Seattle today! It is a familiar town for him because allot of his all time favorite bands in his BC (Before Christ) days are from this fine city. Who can forget Pearl Jam and Soundgarden and Nirvana to name a few. Mr. Bilson told his bro that he was off and that he'd be going to Mercer Island which is the home of Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain. He was planning to light a couple of candles and remember Kurt's life.

In case you are too young to know who these generation X'ers are, Kurt Cobain was the 'spokes person' of Mr. Bilson's generation. He was a rock star who killed himself at gun point at the peak of his career. It shocked the world and his generation who identified with his bleak outlook at life. He was a musical innovator who changed the face of music forever and is a legend for his talent. He was also a massive Heroin addict.

Mr. Bilson told his bro, A-Bomb that he was on my way to Seattle! A-Bomb who is always full of fresh humor told Bilson not to forget to lie a bag of drugs by the grave. Very Funny!

But than something interesting happened on the way to Seattle. Mr. Bilson flipped the dial to see what was on the air waves. It was as song called, "Lithium" by Kurt himself. He started to groove to the tune when all of a sudden it hit Him!

Things have changed now. The dead, depressed, empty, frustrated teenager of Mr. Bilson's yestur years has been buried in the waters of baptism risen to a new life! An abundant life. Now the bleak outlook of Kurt and the gang hold no more meaning because the old things are gone and behold all things have become new. Mr. Bilson is a new creation in Christ. He is created for greater things. He will be living life for the creator instead. Life has meaning and purpose now. Everything is different, better, real! It is time to tell the world! Look out world. Here comes Mr.Bilson!

"Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." (Phillipians 3:12-14)

Hey wilson. Oh my gosh, I remember Nirvana, Sound Garden etc... Reminds me of high school when I wore baggy jeans and listened to that. You dont even look or seem like someone who would have listened to that kind of music.
