Five Gives you Fifty



Approximately 50% of cancers are preventable. There are five primary risk factors:

1. Tobacco Use

Avoid smoking!

2. Body Weight

Achieve and maintain a healthy body weight.

3. Diet

Follow a proper diet that includes plenty of vegetables, fruits and other plant based foods.

4. Physical Activity

Maintain a proper level of weekly activity.

5. Sun

Avoid UV-radiation and prevent sunburn, especially during childhood.
