PMC @ SAGC

Here is PMC hijacking SAGC. We seem to have the understanding that the Holy Spirit is purely spontaneous and ignore Scripture that says:

"Let all things be done decently and in order." (1 Corinthians 14:10)

"For God is not a God of disorder but of peace. As in all the congregations of the saints," (1 Corinthians 14:33)

Okay, maybe I'm being a little bit harsh but Scripture is very clear. We were asked to do two songs but ended up doing 3.5.

I heard a pastor once say that he met very few humble worship leaders. Some would come to the Church, take over the altar and service and leave nothing for the church until they were finished. Than there were the far but few humble leaders who come to the pastor asking about the vision and theme and how they can humbly serve and advance their God inspired purpose.

That is my dream for this worship team. I long and yearn for it...

Wouldn't it been great if we just did the two songs upon request and leave it to the Pastor/leader to request another as he senses our raw humility and desire to serve or worship? But I think the team just doesn't know it. We all need to learn from Jesus who says,

"The greatest among you will be your servant. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted." (Matthew 23:11-12)
