Visionaries

I just love visionary leaders. Speaking of visionaries, here is one named Pastor P. He is unlike any other leader I have ever met. He is always thinking beyond just getting the job done. It goes much further than that. It is about going the extra mile. It is hard to find extra mile leaders these days. He is always, thinking bigger, better and isn't afraid to contemporize, experiment and take some risks along the way. This is what is lacking in the church today.

I fall in so many traps that many leaders do thinking, "Let's get it done and over with so we can move on." But Pastor P will take the time to appreciate the moment and make the most of it. Isn't that what is needed these days? I think Paul would concur.

"See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." (Ephesians 5:15)
